Warm timber slats that tilt from sunlight to shade — natural texture for studies, majlis and villas.

Roman blinds fold flat panels of real furnishing fabric into deep, even pleats — giving a window the softness of curtains without the floor-length volume. They're the choice for windows where curtains would crowd the space: kitchens, studies, bay windows and cosy bedrooms.
Choose your finish: blackout-lined for bedrooms, dimout for living spaces, or unlined light-filtering fabrics that glow softly — same tailored folds, tuned to what each room needs.

A roman blind is closer to tailoring than to hardware: the fabric is cut, lined and weighted so it breaks into identical folds every time it lifts. Done well, it's the most furniture-like of all window treatments — a rectangle of beautiful cloth that happens to move.
In the UAE the lining does double duty. A blackout lining blocks light for sleep and shields the face fabric itself from sun fading, keeping strong colours strong; it also adds a layer of insulation at the glass. Prefer a softer effect? An unlined roman in a light-filtering weave gives glowing bands of daylight — lovely over kitchen sinks and stair windows.
Because romans use flat panels, they show off pattern and texture better than any curtain — if you've found a fabric you love, this is the way to frame it. They're made from the same collections as our curtains, so you can run one fabric across a whole room.
Up to around 2.5m a single roman works well; beyond that we recommend paired blinds or a different treatment, which we'll advise on during measurement.
No — the folds are formed by rods and weights sewn into the blind, so they reset every time it's raised. Occasional light steaming keeps fabric crisp.
Bedrooms: blackout lining for sleep. Living rooms and majlis: dimout for softened light. Kitchens and landings: light-filtering or unlined for a soft glow. We bring samples of each to the free visit.
